I am a huge chevy advocate and I was immensely disappointed in how I was treated with my most recently experience. I purchased a warranty for a battery and I was charged $240 to simply install the new battery. I am not a certified mechanic, but I have changed my fair share of batteries on vehicles so I know the time and minal effort it takes to change a battery on the vehicles that I have owned. I am a person of integrity and certain jobs to no warrant certain costs, period. I purchased my vehicle at the location of the service, and made things easy by choosing to service my vehicle at that same location and being a truly expectational customer. I am severely disappointed in the way that this matter was handled and I hope that no one else gets treated this way.

Recently had an issue with tire pressure sensors on a pre-owned vehicle I purchased a few weeks ago. At the time of the vehicle purchase I also purchased an extended vehicle warranty. The warranty has a $200 co-pay for each occurance but the dealership worked with me on the issue of a tire sensor going out separately on multiple occassions.

Customer service does not seem priority. I even asked for a trade in quote on my truck given extensive repairs suggested. I went to the dealer to pick up the truck hours later and no one had prepared a trade-in quote, no one attempted to even talk to me about it. It took the shop 1.5 weeks to provide a presumptive quote that was 'hopeful' fixes. Overall, not impressed with the service.

I hate having to write a review like this and honestly despise doing it, but this situation cannot continue to be ignored and needs to be acknowledged. I brought my truck to this dealership for a recall repair and was told the issue had been resolved. Less than two weeks later, my engine completely shut down while I was driving on the highway, creating a very dangerous situation. After the truck spent over a month in their shop, I finally got it back — only to have the exact same engine issue happen again. I then had to bring it back to the same dealership for another major repair. This second repair process took an additional six weeks before I received my vehicle back. The worst part of this entire experience is that the dealership had no loaner vehicles available, forcing me to pay out of pocket for rental vehicles while waiting on repairs. I spent $3,481.91 on rentals, and despite the repeated repair failures and extended delays, I still have not been reimbursed for any of those expenses. The dealership continues to say that GMC has been notified regarding the reimbursement situation, yet they make little to no effort to keep up with communication or provide updates. I constantly had to follow up myself just to try and get answers. To this day, I still have not received reimbursement and have yet to be contacted by either the dealership or a GMC representative to help resolve this situation. The lack of accountability, communication, and urgency throughout this process has been beyond frustrating. It is extremely disappointing that I had to suffer the financial burden and inconvenience for a problem that was supposedly repaired the first time. Between the repeated engine failures, excessive repair times, lack of communication, and failure to provide assistance with transportation costs, this has been one of the worst dealership experiences I have ever dealt with. This dealership has proven to be completely unreliable, and I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

It took three days to determine the truck had bad batteries and there seemed that no none could tell me what the issue was. I had to literaly go to dealership and talk to the manager to find out the truck was setting there ready to go.

Although I am pleased with my return visit after a week that I had my oil changed I am disappointed that I had to return because on my original visit my oil filter was not tightened enough now I have an oil stain on my carport and I had to take time off of work and bring my car in from New Iberia to Broussard(gas is not cheap right now) I was seen right away when I got there. I should not have had to return if things were done properly the first time. I think about if I hadn’t accidentally noticed my car was leaking oil, what would have happened to my engine!

Rick, service manager, was excellent in handling my case. As this was an extensive repair requiring cab removal and several specialized tools to effect the repair he did a good job in keeping me informed as to progress. He also provided me with a loaner due to the 2 1/2 months of repair time. Rickie in the loaner dept was very pleasant and helpful in keeping me with transportation during that time. I was somewhat concerned that required tools to accomplish the repairs were not readily available at the dealership but were shared by three dealerships forcing extended wait time on my end to have tool access to continue with the repairs. I've driven my truck over 700 miles since repaired and thus far no problems.
