The current state of the automotive industry is not consumer friendly and even with the implementation of the FTC's CARS rule, dealerships still continue to employ the tactic of adding additional items to all vehicles in their inventory without advertising the actual cost available for any user to purchase the vehicle. Courtesy in Broussard is an outstanding example of how a dealership SHOULD operate in today's climate. Not only was my 2024 Colorado WT fairly priced, but the price was listed as the actual out-the-door cost, less taxes and reasonable fees. Rodney, my salesperson, was exceptional and is unmatched in both his professionalism and his ability to work out a fair deal. My only concern through the sales process was that the additional protection plan (roughly $600) was added to the final sales price and was not mentioned clearly in the sales price. Upon presenting this concern, Rodney apologized and assured me that this was an error and that the fee is typically disclosed and immediately offered to completely waive the fee as well as provide a discount for the VIN etching fee. Rodney's quick response and resolution of my concern is what earned my business. Personal shout-out to Rodney- keep doing what you're doing, and don't change. Take pride in your work ethic and continue forward with a people-centric mentality and you will continue to excel while restoring the tarnished reputation of the automotive sales industry. Ryan, the sales manager, finalized my purchase as their finance manager was not in the office. The process was smooth, quick, and without any unexpected issues. The final price I was quoted prior to arriving at the dealership was exactly the price at which I signed for. Excellent job, Ryan, for maintaining continuity and integrity throughout the entire sales journey. Final thoughts- I've been on the market for some time now for a new vehicle and have explored options at many dealerships, some as far as Austin, TX, and Courtesy in Broussard is the ONLY dealership that I feel comfortable doing business with, due to their fair and transparent pricing and their avoidance of using deceptive tactics just to get customers in the door. Outstanding job!

I made an appointment for 7:30 AM & dropped off my Tahoe Sunday afternoon & was 1st & only car in line. On my last oil change Rick told me to remind him to fix oil leak on my next oil change which I did when I spoke to Rick to make this appointment. At 9 o’clock, Rick called to say there were 2 oil leaks, but they were backed up from the snow & were not able to fix leaks-I would have to make another appointment. I asked if oil change would be done & he said if done they would have to do another oil change when the 2 leaks would be fixed. I shared my oil was at 5%. He then asked how much was I driving my car. I told him I have to drive to Franklin daily to see my husband in hospital. Rick said oil needed to be changed today. This conversation was at 9. I called at 1 to see if my car was ready & Rick said he would check & call me back. By 1:30 I called back & someone else answered & said Rick was with a customer. I then asked if my car was ready & this person said they were working on it. I asked if I left New Iberia then would my car be ready when I got there & he said yes. Well, my granddaughter dropped me off at 2 but my car WAS NOT READY til 3(it took 6 hours to get an oil change)-unbelievable. This made me delayed in getting to my husband in hospital & very sad to be treated like this. I made an appointment & dropped off my car the afternoon before-this makes no sense!!! We have bought at least 6 vehicles in the past 15 years from Courtesy. For my next appointment to change oil & fix the 2 leaks, I expect to be treated better.

Salesman was great! However, I had to wait for an hour to meet with the finance guy. Arrived around 11:30 am and didn’t leave until after 4:00 pm. Wasn’t even offered a bottle of water.
